I worked with Lavina for almost 1.5 years at Eventbrite. She was one of our first designers hired in India as we were scaling the design team in the region. She helped establish the design culture and rituals in India and drove design vision and strategy for a number of areas of the product including admin tooling, onboarding and sign in.

Lavina also directly reported to me for a majority of her time at Eventbrite. She understood the challenges of remote work with an international manager and was very accommodating of her schedule to make sure we always had FaceTime during 1:1s and reviewing design work as a team, with focus on the overall craft and quality of our work.

Lavina exceeded expectation is design ideas as well as even doing a good job at filling out the content of the website page which would of require good intuition and understanding of what is valuable about our offer and how to present it.
